Gilgamesh Technologies LLC ("Gilgamesh," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Gilgamesh mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your financial or health data for advertising purposes.
The App includes an AI-powered macro scanning feature that allows you to photograph food to estimate nutritional content. Photos submitted to this feature are processed using Anthropic's Claude AI technology solely to generate nutritional estimates. These images are processed in real-time for the purpose of the request and are not retained after analysis, nor used to train AI models.
Progress photos and images you post to the Tavern are stored on our servers (via Supabase Storage) so they can be displayed back to you and, if made public, to other users.
The Tavern feature allows you to share posts, replies, photos, videos, workout summaries, and macro summaries with other users. Content you choose to make public is visible to other users of the App. You control what you share. We retain the right to remove content that violates our Community Rules and to suspend or ban accounts engaged in abusive behavior.
Direct messages between users are private but may be reviewed by us if reported for violating our Community Rules or in connection with a legal request.
Gilgamesh includes "Mesh," an in-app engagement reward point system. Mesh has no monetary value, cannot be purchased with real currency, and cannot be redeemed for cash. We reserve the right to modify, transition, or discontinue the Mesh system at any time.
Mesh is earned through two mechanisms: (1) a monthly distribution calculated based on the honors your content received from the community that month, and (2) tips sent directly to you by other users. To support these features, we track community honors received on your content and tip transactions sent and received. See our Terms of Service for complete details on the Mesh program.
We share information with the following categories of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Each of these providers is contractually obligated to handle data securely and only for the purposes we direct, consistent with this Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Your data is stored on Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own private data.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Price snapshot data used for market ticker calculations is automatically deleted after 25 hours and is not linked to individual users.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You control what information is visible on your public profile, including progress photos, posts, and certain stats. Financial data, health data, your email address, and private messages are never publicly visible to other users.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings within the App. Upon deletion, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
You may opt in or out of push notifications (price alerts, water reminders, achievement notifications, social activity, Mesh distribution updates) at any time within the App or through your device settings.
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through the App's settings, as described in Section 9.

Our legal basis for processing your personal information includes your consent, the necessity of processing to perform our contract with you (providing the App and its features), and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App.
Supabase, our database processor, may store data on servers located outside your country of residence. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of location.
We aim to provide consistent privacy protections to all users regardless of location, including compliance with applicable state privacy laws in the United States and PIPEDA in Canada.
The App is rated 17+ and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, nor from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the account promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
